The Location
Villamartin is a new urbanisation situated just south of Torrevieja at the southern end of the Costa Blanca on the Orihuela Costa. Villamartin is located just inland from the coastal resorts of Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima and Campoamor and their 'Blue Flag' sandy beaches. The area is said to enjoy more than 320 days of sunshine each year.

The urbanization of Villamartin has no less than three golf courses, Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villamartin. Probably the most popular of the three, and generally recognised as the finest, Villamartin, played host to the 1994 Mediterranean Open, taking its place it's place as being one of the best courses in Spain. Although the tournament ceased in 1995, it established Villamartin as a championship golf course.

Villamartin is just a 25 minute drive from Murcia San Javier airport. A slightly longer drive, but just as easy, is Alicante airport which is about 45 minutes away. Villamartin is clearly signposted from the N-332 coast road at La Zenia and at Campoamor, if accessing via the AP-7 motorway get off at the La Zenia junction.

The close proximity of the sandy beaches, (just three miles to La Zenia), the golf courses and the airports make this  the ideal location for both family  and golfing holidays.
